I am trying Microdata for the first time and I am getting errors on the html validation site.

"itemscope" is not a member of a group specified for any attribute

there is no attribute "itemprop"

Can you please tell me what am i doing wrong?

Here is the url www rootersontime com/services/

I only did a small part of the page just to try it out. Please let me know if i made any mistakes.

I'm the author of the above-linked article and have noticed people reaching the article from the above link and thought I'd add a little more.

The "itemprop" attribute, among other new microdata-related properties, is available only in HTML5. Refer to Extending HTML5 for details on these microdata properties.

It's not too surprising that these properties aren't present in HTML4 - HTML4 was finalised about 15 years ago when such needs weren't relevant.

I'll update the above-linked article soon with some more relevant details.

I agree with you. Now HTML often means only HTML5 and if you are using blogger platform than it could be XHTML for website coding. The post HTML is HTML5.
