Converting basic HTML site over to Wordpress

As the title says.. Is it possible?

I have a website which is becoming a nightmare to update. Just to add a Blog post, I'm having to open up 8 HTML files in Dreamweaver and hard code each of them. The blog is an inner section of the website.. I'd also want the ability to add new pages then I can add the links to anywhere I want to the website.

I don't really want to add the web address here. If you can do it and can give an idea of cost, I'll send it over in a PM so you can look at it more in-depth.

Mike

Edit... I don't mind any other CMS either. Just need something to help speed things up when I want to add pages and news posts.

Hi Mike, anything is possible. And more.

How much work it will be depends on how your current site is designed: with tables or with HTML/CSS? How many articles do you have published?

It would be important in the process to keep the URL's either valid or to create valid redirects.

One could fit the entire site into one WordPress installation, and simply keep the blog URL.

Welcome to PM me and I'll take a look.

      Thanks Rich.

I've sent you a PM. There's only around 6 news posts at the moment. About 25 pages on the site excluding the news posts.

I can take a look at it as well.

Going from an HTML page to a WordPress page is more of just a matter of understanding how WordPress works, picking a suitable theme, and putting the information in the same CSS like format as it was before.
