Wordpress Theme for Single Product

I'm looking for a theme suitable for a wordpress site that will be selling a single physical product (for the moment). Any recommendations? As you'd expect most of the themes I've looked at are geared towards selling multiple products.

Any ideas appreciated.

    Use a multipurpose theme or a minimalist one, and abandon some of their functions to make your site exactly what you want. If you have some knowledge of WP, you may just need to look for a free theme on wordpress.org and install some needed plugins, and just edit the files. Or you can buy one with better design and functions. Take a look at the two themes - Nextbiz multipurpose and Folioway minimalist designed by the same author. I'm using the multipurpose one and find it very flexible to use.

    Just Use custom Wordpress theme
    Design your own theme in PSD (photoshop) or get a Web Designer, will cost $50+
    and then Hire a Wordpress developer to get PSD to WP, another $50+

      I always use one of the WordPress.org hosted and developed themes and create a child theme based on one of them. That is in my opinion the best basis for developing a website for any niche.
      Installation of a custom header image is simple and will set your site apart from the crowd.

    I'd use WooCommerce and some theme that fits the project (probably from iThemes' Builder collection). I think it's a good idea to get a proper ecommerce platform, and just have one product page if you don't need more than that. It's easier to build on good foundation.

    However, there are quite a few options. iThemes recently released their Exchange plugin that claims to be simple.

    I've found that the ecommerce themes are pain to extend and work with, but your mileage may vary.

    Based on your description, virtually ever single WordPress theme in existence would be suitable for selling a single product.

    You really, really, really need to be more specific about your needs.

    Hello, I've had similar projects in the past. Just take whatever theme you like best and edit the index file, to feature only a single product.

    Most woocommerce ready themes have a woocommerce folder within the source files, so basically what you want to do, is go over to that folder, find the file that controls how a single product is displayed - grab the code (both css and php) and echo's the product and copy it over to your index.php file (obviously you'll need to make some basic styling changes - but it's nothing major).
