Hi,

Simple question: What tools do you use to create a professional Header for your Wordpress Websites?

I've created one, but it's obviously very basic:

How to Increase Height | How to grow taller FAST

Thanks everyone.

Photoshop if you have a licensed one, alternatively you can go for gimp which is really good.

I used XHeader. In my opinion, it's not the very best, but it's free, you have the option to buy more, and it's really quick and easy to use. Good luck!

in my personal opinion, Photoshop is magical :>
although it's kinda bit expensive in license...

but, it's really worth the price, and took some time to learn about the tools...
complicated at first... but once you got the basic, you can do almost anything for image editing :>

    Warm regards,

Try fiverr.com or somene here on this forum, spend a couple bucks and let a pro do their magic, then use the time you would have spent to market your site.

Yeah I would pay somebody on Fiverr to do it. I spent a lot of time recently trying to do one for myself and I ended up wasting a lot of time and it just gave me a big headache in the end.

You just answered your own question.

Yes, save yourself time and have some one else do it. Time you could be using for more important things like promotion, marketing, ect.

Site down, so I can't see it... But yeah, I'd also use Photoshop to edit images. Or are you talking about WordPress headers?

Links in signature will not help your SEO. Not on this site, and not on any other forum.
Who told me this? An ex Google web spam engineer.

    What's your excuse?

Thanks guys, so I take it that Fiverr is the best way of getting a Header/Banner?

No, the best way is to have your own graphic designer on your payroll... but the next best thing is to hire somebody (fiverr or anywhere else), especially when you only need such work done occasionally.

The only alternative that comes to mind that's newbie friendly would be xheader. You have a free version with around 500 templates and a paid one with around 5000. But you're still limited to the size of the templates and niches/topics available. You can create some pretty nice looking headers with no experience though.

The best thing would be Photoshop of course. Free alternatives to photoshop are the famous Gimp and a personal favorite of mine, PhotoFiltre.

You can even use very simples tools like paint, powerpoint, etc if you get creative enough. If there is a will there is a way

Will use Xheader then. If it does not go well, then I'll pay someone on Fiverr to do a better job.

      Thanks for the help all!

To me Photoshop is the best. Right now Adobe has a deal for $9.99 a month for full version. I think it is a pretty good deal.

As suggested earlier: Photoshop. I've also used Illustrator. Both have a learning curve, but are worth the time. If you are pressed for Time, then I would do as some have suggested and look on Fiverr.
