    First off I was smacked with three pop-up type windows. One for your email opt-in. Another one with a video that slides up, and yet another on in the bottom right corner. Talk about scaring your visitors off as soon as the land.

    The text in the posts all seems SO bold and too much for me, kinda hard on the eyes.

    Everything just seems so BIG, like to big. Font's are huge.

    Just my two cents.

    It's very slow, looks like a generic template that I saw some time ago, and indeed has three popups right there on the page. I don't want to see more after the casino ad slowly slides under the other popup. I thought that was the icing on the cake, but you've also tied casino popups to the navigation. WTF man.

    You've had this site reviewed before, haven't you? I can remember your "bible verses as placeholder text on a business website" approach.

    Not here! Everything that is not sctrictly design related - will get deleted immediately.

    Also, if you are using a ready made theme - there is nothing to "review' about your design... since it is NOT your design.

      Can it not be that he wants to know if the design/layout fits his niche and site feel? I understand where your coming from, but because it is not HIS design, he may still want a review of THE design, and from what I understand be entitled to it. Perhaps he will customize the ready made theme based off recommendations? Again, I see where your coming from, but also can understand the other side of things. =)

        I also can understand that lots of new members post just to pimp their signature links... :rolleyes:

        And no, most review requests are simply a ploy to get backlinks to their site

        (btw, I am still hoping the get the approval to ban every "review" BS going on here - since the real, constructive reviews/critiques are rare and every such thread ends up in a spam/sig-pimp fest...)

          Can you make a rule that forbids real links in review requests? You know, if they'd start with hxxp:// it's not a huge inconvenience for a reviewer but there isn't even the nofollow link that the forum would otherwise give.
