Hello all,

I recently changed the name of a page from "Our Services" to "Security Services". After that happened all the pages under that got re indexed however a few of the pages haven't been re indexed even after a week. I have multiple duplicate content errors and the old pages are still indexed in Google.

I was just wondering on how to get rid of the duplicate errors in google webmasters and get rid of the pages that are currently still indexed but are not the correct spelling.

Regards,
Latifv

Delete any duplicates, recreate your sitemap and resubmit it to Google.

Go through the webmaster tools and tell Google to "fetch as google" the new or corrected pages

...Even if you're on the right track, you'll get run over if you just set there.

There are no duplicates on my website however the former name is still appearing in google. Is there a way to remove the former names?
