Help! Responsive Elegant Theme Divi

Hi:
This is my first try at building a website.
I'm using the Divi (a responsive theme) from Elegant Themes.

I have an image as the logo (stylized text done in photoshop) and have followed instructions on uploading it.

I also have a gradient background, running from top of page to bottom.
Both the logo and background look great on my desktop and laptop.

But, when the site is viewed on a tablet or smart phone, the text/logo is reduced so small it's difficult to read.

Any suggestions on if this can be rectified, or what I need to do to keep the aspect ratio of the logo so it is legible on all devices?

Elegant themes help desk is not very responsive. :-(

    Hello there,

    In Responsive design you need to do coding for each and every device which is compatible to it, suppose if you want to to look your site into tablet or smart phone same as a desktop so need to adjust your logo size as per device screen into your codding. Some times you have to change resolution, it is very necessary that after coding it should be compatible with all browser and works well in both device either mobile or in desktop.

    Fell free to ask any kind of help from my side for Responsive design...

      This is not true... usage of media queries and knowledge of frameworks like ZURB Foundation/Twitter Bootstrap - in this case CSS knowledge - is the solution.

      You do not need "coding for each and every device"... CSS is the key!

    I have been a member of elegant themes for the past 5 months and every time I ask them a question they respond within minutes. I'm not sure why you are having trouble with them. Did you post on the respective theme thread?? If you can send me the link I can see what the problem is, I have built a couple of sites using Divi theme

      I made two separate files: one for the text/logo and one for the background and the text logo is not responsive, it still shrinks to a small size that you can barely read.

        I suggested the text logo and the background to be in normal css styling
