[Help with WP needed] New Posts only appear when logged in

Hello Warriors,

I have bought a WP niche WS with 2 posts. Now I have made additional 7 posts. All 9 posts are visible on HP when logged in. When not logged in only the two oldest posts are visible.
All my posts visibility are set to "public".
I just noticed that some of the new posts are indexed in Google, and clicking there the post comes up, even when not logged in. But they are not linked from the home page.
I've made also some changes to the home page design. They also do not appear when logged out. Just the old version like it was when I bought the site with only the 2 post.
Logging in into WP and reload the page, all appears, like magic: the new posts as well as the updated home page design. Logging out and reload again all disappears.
Checked in Chrome and Firefox browser. F5 and clear browser cache also.
My WP has no cache plugin.
I'm clueless.
Please help.

    Try switching the theme to one of the WordPress default themes (twentyEleven or newer)

    If that doesn't fix it, try disabling all the plugins.

    You might check for support from the person you purchased the site from.

      Hi Robin.

      Thx for the tip. Now it get's even more mysterious: After changing the theme to WP default and disabling all plugins it appears when logged in with all posts like before, just with the new theme, like expected. But, when logged out the original theme, again with only the 2 old posts appears again! Nothing has changed at all.
      As if there were some cache. But I have pressed F5 and cleared the browser cache and never had a cache plugin for WP installed.
      The seller of the site has become unresponsive.
      I'm on my own and have to find help elsewhere.

        Another mystery:
        When I go to What WordPress Theme Is That? it detects still the original theme even I have switched over to WP default theme, am logged in and WP default theme is displayed in my browser.
        It also detects the plugins which are deactivated, and it detects WP Super Cache, which is not even installed. But it does not detect Jetpack plugin, which is installed, but deactivated and which also does not include cache function, according to description.

          I know you have said that you have un installed this. But something went wrong somewhere.

          what you want to do is copy all of your CSS "just in case" load the 2014 Theme in and then load your theme back in after that. This will do a bit of a reset for you and you will know it has worked by looking at the last few lines of your source code, and you should not see the above lines!

          One other thing. Do yourself a favor, and look into using a child theme. You really don't want that much CSS code sitting in your CUSTOM CSS Box, you want to go ahead and move that into child them Custom CSS file! This will reduce your overall page code - improving your page load time. On your home page alone it will reduce the number of loading lines by 33%

            Hi Savidge,

            the Custom CSS box in Appearance > Adaptive Flat is empty. Not sure what I shall move into a child theme.
            Please advise.

              Anything you add, either CSS or php, like extra functions is what should go in the child theme. What ever you want to keep safe. Plus, as Savidge said, to reduce file size and reduce load time. Updating a theme can erase any custom coding you add to a theme.

    If you view source of your page, it will tell you what theme the site is using, and usually most of the plug-ins, if not all of them. If those are all correct, then that "what theme is it" tool must be off. Maybe if you used the tool before, it saved or cached your sites details? I don't know how the tool works.

    If the information is wrong, than something must be up with your hosting. Maybe you should bug your host and see what they say?

    A friend of mine tried yahoo hosting a while back and it was slow to update, but nothing like what you getting.

      There was a lot of garbage from WP Super Cache in .htaccess. I have deleted it and now all works fine.
      So the seller of the site, who meanwhile has gone silent, must have WP super cache installed, then de-installed and left the garbage in .htaccess.

      This is resolved.
      Now I'm going to look into the child theme issue. Never heard about THAT.

    Even though you deactivated cache plugin check that it did not leave things in your .htaccess

    Try also clear the cached from your browser find them in the section of tools / option / setting in the browser, in chrome you can do it by pressing Ctrl+F5 or Shift+F5...

    There are some hosts that install caching programs with their auto installers also. That's one of the first things I look at after an auto installation.
