Wordpress Admin Privileges

WEB DESIGN

How can I create a user and give them Admin status without them being able to delete the other admin? Possibly blocking other options as well, like the 'Settings' tab for example.

Is there a custom Admin plugin or a plugin that lets one user be like a Super Admin?

Another great plugin is https://wordpress.org/plugins/advanced-access-manager/

It lets you change what admins can and can't do. Just be careful you don't lock yourself out of your own site! Not that that's every happened to me before

You can create another role (ex. superadmin), give it all permissions, and then limit access to admins. Again, just be sure to do things in that order.

from what i understand, create user and then set them to contributor or subscriber... no plugin needed...
