Landing page on WordPress

Hello,

How do I set up a landing page with WordPress?

Specifically, I want to use Facebook advertising, and when the user clicks on an ad, they land on my landing page.

There, I want to collect their first name and email address, and automatically email them a free report.

What software do I need?

Another question, what service can I use for email marketing, if I'm on a budget and want to use a service that is really cheap at first?

Thanks!

I use the Just Landed Theme from Theme Forest... I also use a plugin that lets me create an awesome looking optin page (that I send my FB ads too).... and the main page of my blog is my landing page...
I use Aweber AND Response Magic.

Response Magic lets you use their service for FREE up to 100 subscribers.

You want to have a nice looking landing/optin page... then a nice thank you page, and an immediate email that gives them what they opted in for.

If you want some help, get in contact with me... I'm in the process of putting together some free trainings on my blog this weekend!

    Cheers.

Leadpages is the best for landing pages in my opinion.

Been using them for a while and gotten some great results

If you really want quality then my recommendation will be
    1) Optimizepress
    2) Leadpages

You can choose either of them. Both are quality products, being used by top markters.

Optimizepress is bit difficult to grasp initially but you have more options there. Leadpages have lesser option but with very less startup efforts involved. Leadpages can also be plugged with Facebook with just few buttons.

    Best of Luck!

You can try Aweber for the subscription form and as a theme I think you can use any theme you want based on your needs (even a free one). Personally I'll search for a theme on Themeforest (the Leafage theme is very nice).
