    Hi,

    Really, you might want to tell us what you need VPS for?

    The reason I say this is, it's really only better than basic shared because you can run some more complex scripts on it.

    If it is that you're thinking it will increase your server power to nearly that of a dedicated box then you may wish to consider reading the fine print.

    Truly any of the hosts that have good basic hosting accounts will likley have just as good a VPS product as there's really no difference other than the script ability. In fact I've seen VPS's with less that what was offered on their top tier basic program.

    Have a look at VPS deals which 1qcloud.com and QHoster.com provide.
    They have stable servers which are supported perfectly well and uptime is high.

    whoever you chose make sure you select at least 1 GB ram or better. The better ram you have the better performance you will get. Make a list of hosts, compare cpu, disk, ram, and price go for the best one.

    It's depend on your budget, need & kinds of VPS (managed or unmanaged one).

    If you have budget, managed VPS with cPanel and for database intensive sites like WPMU with good amount of visitors, I'd suggest KnownHost SSD plan, WiredTree SSD Plan & StormOnDemand SSD (LiquidWeb Company).

    You won't go wrong with each of them.
