Question about a background image

I can't seem to get the background image to show up for the navigation area. I set the height and I know the image is there but it doesn't seem to show up. By the way, the height is set to 300px just to have more than enough room for the image. it is only a 19px high image. Can anyone tell me what needs to be changed to make it show? Thanks, it must be something to do with the way the template is. I put the full path in and it works now. The template page is in the root of the site and then the image is in images/topbackgroundsmall.jpg.

But the template.php page pulls all of the content from another folder in the directory that holds all of the html and it just puts it together. Would the image path need to be set to ../images/topbackgroundsmall.jpg?

Yes. You should set it to that path. It's a must that you put all images in a folder.
