With all the intelligent things that I do, I can sometimes just be a blooming
idiot.
Okay, it's no secret anymore but one of my authority sites is a health site.
The problem is, it's ALL over the place. It tackles every disease known to
man. Therefore, unless I have specific pages targeting each disease (which
I don't have right now) I'm not getting really targeted people to my main
page.
Now, let me explain how the main page is set up right now.
It's simple. They get their from one of many articles I've written on various
health related topics through a resource box that essentially says this...
get your free report on natural health cures.
It's really pretty lame. It was put together before I really got into writing
killer resource boxes. And yet, I still get tons of traffic...Go figure.
Problem is, they opt in to get the free report but it doesn't convert because
these people are all over the map as far as what's ailing them.
In other words, they're not targeted enough.
Well, all of a sudden today, I got a DUH! moment.
And it's this simple.
1. Find a product on Clickbank related to the health problem.
2. Get it.
3. Review it.
4. Put the review on its own special page on my authority site.
5. Write an article on the topic.
6. In the resource box, direct people to the review page...not the main
page.
7. Make tons of sales.
8. Repeat steps 1 through 7 for tons of products.
I'm already getting the traffic. All I have to do is give them something
to freakin buy.
Oh sometimes I am such a moron.
I'll be starting this in January and probably adding another 2 to 3K a
month to my bottom line.
