Can you appeal? I know they're ban happy so it's Always best to have multiple ways to monitize a website. Did you encourage the user to click the ads in any way?

A few years ago I had my AdSense account shut down also. I have tried to appeal, but have had no luck. There are other companies out there that you can use to monetize with. One in particular I have had good luck with is Chitika. I don't make as much with them as I did with Adsense, but at least it's something. I find them to be very similar to Google Adsense and get paid reliably on a CPC basis. Do a Google search using the keywords "AdSense alternatives" and a number of companies will show up. I have had good luck with Chitika so I can't vouch for any other companies as I haven't tried any of them. Good luck.

Adsense has a lot of rules that a lot of people don't know about because I see them being broken on a regular basis.

For example, you can't display more than 3 ads on a single page, can't place them in a floating widget, can't place them under a section labeled anything other than "sponsored links". Many more, too.

People get away with this for a little while, but eventually get popped and end up on sites like this wondering why they were banned. I would make sure you understand their terms of service inside out before relying on them for income.

    Hi!
    Yes, that sucks!
I had the same problem a few years ago, they banned my account without any notification.
Contacting them will not solve the problem and you will not find the problem why they shout you down (at least that happened to me).
Now I am using alternatives on CPM basis and it's working fine.
    Good luck!

Google Adsense has some strict publishers policy. Social Networking sites are not so good way to drive traffic to Adsense enable sites because clicks are generated by repeated visitors. Always monitor your traffic sources.

The OP CLAIMED residence in the US - and somehow managed to "verify" his claim....

That is not permitted in the terms and conditions of Adsense.

He couldn't get paid because he could not provide necessary tax numbers because he lied about being in the US.

Google figured out what he was doing - and banned him.

    Case closed.

This is why I suggest everyone skip adsense straight up and go through some platform like Ezoic. There are a few out there.

The benefit with going with a setup like that is that you get access to adsense and the google ad exchange but if you are in violation, they will give you the chance to fix it rather than just ban you without warning.

That being said, I'd do everything in my power to make sure I wasn't violating adsense terms willingly. It's not a means to get away with anything but it does give you a little buffer.

  • My opinion to this is that they are making some kind of a fraud with that they are banning people because of some stupid reason not to pay up with some stupid excuse which i think that needs to be stopped..

how much you set your pay out ?

I always set the lowest as I prepare myself " if " touch wood one day I get ban because I feel my site " might break Adsense rules tactically but I do follow the basic , like never send my sit to those traffic exchange , illegal click , got state the standard TSO rules under my site disclimaier "

I always promote via social media , google traffic even lesser than my social media traffic.

Social media traffic sucks for the advertiser. Those who rely on too much social media traffic tend to get disabled for invalid activity due to the poor quality of the traffic that they send to those who pay for the adverts.

If your appeal just pleaded innocence, then you failed. They have data on the activity on your account that you needed to explain and mention what you doing to protect the advertiser from the poor quality clicks.

hmm I feel now a days a lot on Facebook , pinnterest , etc social medias.

I usually discover new site is via social media in fact.

Under google search unless i want to search for stuffs I want than Will discover that site.

so basically social media does impact a lot for advertisers.

next google has Google + also youtube social media

of course we need both traffic from social media and organic search doing Adsense.

correct me if I wrong here.
