Male **** was huge a few weeks ago now it is actually subsiding again, but in general male health offers are still pretty big - and perhaps getting bigger. Muscle supplements, all that stuff. We had it for ages in the form of crappy Clickbank e-books, but now rebill advertisers are catching on.

I would have to agree with everyone else above...I think the diet category will still be a hot factor. Maybe even the loan stuff will come to play a bit more in 2010, though I highly doubt it will.

Colon cleansers have been big for me.... They still are, actually it has gone up. Everything is a little slower during the holidays, dont confuse that with the market slowing.

This thread leaves me wanting a colon cleanse.....

On a side note I just got back from the gym. There were 2 x the number of people in there I always call them 'resolutioners'.

I would guess the health and diet offers get a significant boost this time of the year.

Diet and health products will always be hot, but I anticipate conversions to go down a lot compared to 2009 with it getting harder and harder to promote rebill products and consumers becoming aware of the "free trial" offers.

If you ask me, any of the typical "free trial", "free + shipping", "risk free", etc rebills are going to take a HUGE hit if they don't change their sh!t quickly. Between the FTC and Visa/MC changes, a lot of those sites/companies are either get shut down completely, or have to change and suffer lower conversions due to the massive amounts of warnings and disclosures that they have to give to the consumer now. I know that some places are still running these offers, but I'm staying away from them.

I by no means said that the sky is falling. And of course the CPA networks still carry those offers, they're profitable. And they'll continue to carry them until their merchant accounts shut them down. So sure, you could keep promoting them up til the last breath and then find something else to do when they get pulled. I'd just rather be proactive than reactive.

I believe that self-help or self-improvement will always be big. These are areas that people seem to prefer shopping online. I would include:

fitness, weight loss, colon cleansing, education, dating, quit smoking, diabetes, vitamins, supplements, eat healthy, job hunting, make money at home, and on and on.......

Of course this is where the most competition is, also.

I have a feeling there are going to be some good ethical high payout rebills coming out. Colon cleanse was great, still it, **** is a good product but many of the offers for **** are garbage, netflix is super, credit report is great!

Pretty much its up to Oprah though!

it sounded like most of the rebills are gone... for now.... many of the networks are crapping in their pants.... many AE's are fearing they'll loose their jobs....

and no one knows really how to get around the FTC/MC thing successfully using rebills....

i haven't seen anything/heard anything crushing it yet.

rebills are on the way out.. who knows what the next hot trend is.. there are hundreds of niches out there to make money off of, dominate the non-hot ones can make you a ton of cash too

I don't know. I sort of feel like re-bills may just transform. Rebilling is a good business model and if the product is good then its ethical and valuable on both the advertiser and the customer end. There are companies that run very successful and ethical rebill offers and it works out great for everybody.

So yes, a lot of those crappy rebills will go away for good...thats a fantastic thing for our industry. But, I dont think the rebill model is going away in general.

Education.

Anything pertaining to making more money, or fixing economic problems is gold right now. Of course you have little bursts or bubbles, like the diet trending that pops up every January-Mid march. But finance and edu offers have been stable, and performing better for me than anything else for months now.

Well, I've just taken a beating in google for my **** and colon cleanse sites this month and my income went from about $500 / month to $0 this month. ahhhh

so i'm going to open this up again. What is doing well the first half of the year for people and what could be hot in 2011? More of the same?

It seems people looking for solutions on the internet keep looking for similar stuff. How to lose weight, how to get a six pack, how to repair my credit, etc.

Another important thing to realize is that you can make money with many CPA offers out there, not just the hot ones. The hot offers get the most attention, the most affiliates promoting them, and are therefore the most competitive in terms of keywords or any traffic you are bringing to them.

YES, some people make it huge with trendy 'hot' offers, this is absolutely true. But there is just as much opportunity in the less sexy and more stable offers because there are less people promoting them, so although the traffic is lighter, so is the competition.

Just something to think about. I just see newer marketers all the time flock from one trendy offer to the next hot offer and never gain any real traction because they find themselves fighting for the most competitive keywords and traffic niches all the time.

Many major **** manufacturers have been sued out of business. The guys at copeac told me the major re-bill company that works with them and most other major networks is on its way out. Apparently they owe millions of dollars.

CPS will become more popular as well as performance based payment models with a conversion rate for the advertiser on the backend. It's already started happening.

P90x and Kardashian's ColoTrim have entered the weightloss game with a CPS, Peoplemedia- dating advertiser has already created a sliding scale payout system on some networks. eHarmony does something similar as well.

Niches like mobile, edu, finance and even rebills will always have traffic and always be around, but the next big offer to mint new affiliate millionaires are penny offers.

Sept 2008 **** hit our network in Oct 2008 we were hitting budgets each day and redirecting offers because caps were met, fast forward to June 2010 and everyday we redirected some penny offer because caps were met.

Ive been marketing online since 1999 the next hot market is the penny market. We have about 4 penny auction offers live right now with about 5 more coming up in the next few weeks, as well as multiple penny stock offers. Want a laptop for $4.56? Those in the know have been hitting these offers for over a month now.

Can anyone verify this info about "penny" offers? That info is kind of hard for me to believe.

Most of the niches will be around forever.

Its the specific offers within the niche that come and go. For example, weight loss will be around forever but **** berry offers wont be.

Trendy offers can be very profitable but not necessarily the most sustainable of campaigns.

Education verticals will soar. Funds are being handed out by the fist full for education. We have already seen an increase on all education offers that are hosted on the network since late last year. Every month the increase is higher and higher.

Will it be the top offer?? Not likely, but surely do not ignore education.
