There are several different ways to promote CPA offers on AdWords.


Search or Content Network?
First, decide if you want to advertise on the search or content network. The search is simply Google's search, and the content network are websites with AdSense installed.

Keywords
You need to use keywords to target your audience. If you're using the search your ads will appear when people search for your keywords, if you're using the CN your ads will appear on sites related to your keywords.

Landing pages and direct linking
When you direct link you send people directly to the offer's page when they click on your ads. I don't recommend you to do it with AdWords for 2 reasons: 1) you may get slapped; 2) chnces are that your conversion rate won't be good. So, instead of direct linking, create landing pages, which are nothing but an intermediate page between the ad and the offer's page. The type of landing page that you should create may vary according to your offer, but make some quick research on Google and you will find lot's of sites explaining how to create landing pages.

Offer
Contact your affiliate managers to know what to promote. I recommend you to stay away from offers that require a CC# to convert. They are a bit harder to promote and you don't want to use them when you're just starting.


$3,5K is a very good budget, but don't get started until you know exactly what you're doing or you won't earn a single buck. Maybe you should buy a basic course about AdWords (can't come up with one now, but it shouldn't be hard to find a good one) or make a lot of research on forums and blogs to learn how it works.

PPC has a great potential, but it's risky and just because you have money it doesn't mean that you'll succeed.

I don't recommend that you start with Adwords to run CPA offers.

I would suggest starting with Facebook, PlentyOfFish, MyAds or even CPV ads.

What's wrong with adwords? I have been accepted by cpalead and was wondering what kind of landing page would you use for offers? What would be on the landing page?

There are so many other things you can do with $3,500. Like get a product of your own or maybe 2 or 3. Build a business out of them. As a beginner in CPA I can't tell you that blowing $3,500 is a good thing. I would suggest you do LOADS of testing, Cheap testing of course.

If you dont understand what you're doing the LAST thing you should be doing is trying to conquer Adwords. Use some easier sources first, like Facebook or Plenty of Fish. $3500 is a pretty big testing budget to have with those 2 places.

Okay I was looking at the facebook ad thing. I have found an offer on cpalead for example that has a payout of £0.77 pence per lead, an EPC of £0.17pence and a 22% conversion. Does that mean I have to be getting clicks at less than 17 pence do be making profit on this offer? This goes for any offer actually, this one was an example.

Before you start I recommend just reading over old posts, search for anything related to ppc, adwords, etc.. read all of it! then start trying it out
