Just started my first PPV campaign....

I will post more on how it's doing soon. I went with an email submit and figured ppv would be the best for that type. It's one of the highest EPC offers through the place I'm using so I will hope for the best. Wish me luck and any heads up info is appreciated.

Congratulations on the hardest part - taking action! It's all downhill I can assure you.

Running branded email submits on their prospective main domains (and rivals) can be very profitable indeed so keep working away at it. Make a lot of campaigns, keep the winners and ditch the losers to hit profit

An example would be running a "Free Apple iPad" email submit on Apple

Really? Are you basing this from personal experience?

I've personally had $500+ days running email/zip on PPV. I know people who do four figures.

There's plenty of money there I can assure you!

I thought e-mail submits were where the cash is, but it's a good starting point seeing as it's just an e-mail they have to put in...

I highly suggest you TRACK your ass off... Free versoin = either tracking202 (pretty good) or bevomedia.com (also pretty good) or paid= cpvlab (extremely good).

This allows you to tell where your sales are coming from , obviously allowing you to skyrocket your profits if done correctly.

I started off with email submits... had a loss of a few dollars... moved from there to double digit figure offers... then I was in profit (after some testing), as most people have said, the money is in the double digit offers.

It's a hard game and takes lots of testing, but CAN be started at almost any budget if done right. So spend your money wisely, and be smart about it .

An amazing offer (totally agree with kenster here) is netflix. Just join google affiliate network and you can join them after (not sure if you can join them directly from their site... give it a try).

It's free (COMPLETELY) for the customer, and you get paid anywhere from 12-20$ (it's changed). AND it's gone to canada too with A 1 month trial....

So, a good one to start with is netflix for sure (can testify to a part of my profits ...

    Good luck ,

    David

I totally had a breakthrough today. I lost some money. Only a Few Dollars. But I see what people are talking about with tracking. Because I see where all my impressions are and where my clicks where so as I go on I can configure it so I am only paying for impressions that will lead to a clickthrough. Ha It's amazing how you don't get it till you just do it and now it totally makes sense. Now to make it profitable...

There really isn't a minimum, some say you should start with $10k to make it worth it, some say $50 is enough. I say start with something like 300-500$ if you can.

Simply track and slowly invest your money, don't just blow it all at once...

Past that, it's all on you (i started with 200$ and I'm doing alright

Just get on the horse, don't hesitate, just make a campaign, then another and another, you'll get better and better each campaign, don't just make one and expect it to be a winner.

Try different offers as well, and do your keyword research right.... here are a few tools that I use every day and are of extreme value to me (I don't pay a single one of em):

    quantcast.com (and planner)
    keywordspy.com
    spyfu.com
    google.com
    google.com(external keyword tool) (and adplanner)
    alexa.com
    compete.com

I don't use a url scraper yet, but I def will soon... find a site or tool that does it quick and efficiently and use that too.

Btw... a little tip? Think targeted.

    Enjoy,

    David

Hey David, thanks for the info, big bro'!

BTW, what network were/are you using to start with only $200? With such a small amount, is it possible to not only break even, but to come in the profit zone...?

Also, what do you mean by this, Dave:

      ?

      THANKS!

I started with leadImpact, however you can make almost any network work (just make sure your advertising network is not on the "banned list" in your CPA network...

I just found TribalFusion and it seems interesting. Many people suggest starting with Media Traffic, LeadImpact or Adon.

However, If you do have 1,000$ I also highly suggest trafficvance.

I also have a few campaigns running on 7search... people say it's not profitable, but IT has been for me.

Yeah it is possible to be in profits, though it's not easy. Do your research tightly before expecting ridiculous results .

Keep on asking questions... but also go and start some campaigns.

(Btw a little tip? Think Targeted) Means that you should think of WHO goes and visits the urls you target, think of keyword combos that people would search for if they REALLY wanted what you want to give them... etc, etc.

    Have a good one,

    David
