They need to opt-in in order to send emails. But yes you can.

50k emails can get pretty expensive even on aweber.

I use infusionsoft it's worked out nicely they even offer to take payment directly from within the system which is very cool. Also you can have products for sale with them within the same interface.

Aweber is the most popular choice. Getresponse.com is also very good and a little cheaper.

Well you can't use those email addresses with Aweber or GetResponse, or any respectable web-based email marketing service - that's for sure.

You could try to import them into one of these services, but doing that requires each potential recipient to confirm their subscription, and since it sounds like none of them will even know who you are (let alone having consented to you emailing them), they're not going to do that.

And doing it any other way (without asking recipients to confirm their desire to receive your emails) is nothing but spamming.

Do you honestly think a $10 list of email addresses is going to be of much value to you?

I'd just forget this idea entirely.

Honestly, cut your loses, throw that list away and start over.

If you're dumb enough to buy a cold list of 5k emails with intent on spamming these poor people I don't think any respectable online email list tool would even consider your type of activity.

Hey Pilch, It's amazing to me how arrogant you can be because you found someone that knows less than you about one tiny little thing in life! Why don't you try to help him with "all that you must know" rather than being ignorant to him? There's an old saying, there's 2 ways to look good, one is to be good, and the other is to make everyone around you look bad.

Group Mail isn't bad on a small scale, but there are several other levels of email sending software you'll want to check out depending on what you want to do. Many of the members here do "permission based" email which you first need a web site, then traffic then signups. Takes awhile. There are other ways to do what you need with those emails but even then, those emails are probably old and you might get many bounces and even some complaints of the ones that do get delivered.

I used to use ListMailPro but you have to be sure that your domain stays white listed which isn't always easy, but you can import your own list as long as your host isn't too strict because if someone complains they'll take your site down, if you're using them for web hosting.

There are other programs that use networks of hosting accounts that rotate smtp's and / or IP addresses. And although some of your fellow members might reference this approach as questionable and even look down on it as if it were a cheap whore, they'll use it as long as their upstanding name that they're trying to portray isn't involved. So, as long as your name isn't involved and you're mostly interested in making money instead of becoming "famous", there's nothing wrong with it as far as I feel. If you get yourself up to making a $1,000 a day (or more), by blasting millions of emails, well it's just another business model.

      Good luck,
      Mike

Sorry, Mike, I can't agree with that. Spammers are absolutely killing email for everyone. I set up a lot of email accounts for my clients and the biggest thing they complain about is all the spam they get - and they beg me to find a way to reduce it.

Thanks for decreasing my dumbness,I dont want to spam people as I hate spamming as much you do or even more than that

I was thinking to mail them once only for a single website that too gonna save money of those poor people as being the part of an industry that used to work with I know how much they spend on something they can get for free

Anyways thanks for your precious reply

Definetely Aweber or GetResponse. I have a self-hosted autoresponder with a few thousand subscribers, but my deliverability using it is garbage in comparison with the email campaigns that I fire up with Aweber. If you don't want a high percentage of your emails going to the spam folder of your subscribers you should go with Aweber or GetResponse.

Oh right, I forgot what forum I was in. With that said, IT WORKS but there's a learning curve just like all other forms of online marketing. The reason most people are not successful online is because "learning" is out of their comfort zone and rather than implement any of what they bought to learn from, they look for the "next" best thing to teach them, and that's just another product they must learn from, hence NO MONEY.

No matter what you do online you'll have to learn SEO so you might as well start with that. Then you just have to pick a product, build a site, write some articles (with SEO strategies) for those keywords, then get a few good links back to your site so Google starts crawling your site.

Keep adding articles (content) to your site. Then if it's something you want to build a list for, you'll want to use one of the services mentioned here, or you can do it on your own with ListMailPro or similar, as long as it has a "smart auto-responder" so you can automate a set of future email follow ups. It's just a matter of keeping your site "white listed" so your mail gets through. They say "the money is in the list" and if you have a list of loyal subscribers, you can make a pretty good living.

I don't own the ListmailPro company, but here's the features:

      * Unlimited lists each with their own customizable web pages, followups, fields, and users.
      * Timed followup emails sent automatically in the days, weeks, and years after subscription.
      * Easily personalize your email with user info, formatted dates, custom text and more.
      * Custom HTML - modify subscribe and remove pages to FULLY integrate with your site.
      * Link Tracking - see who hits what links and when!
      * Multi-part MIME messages - text and HTML email with or without file attachments.
      * Double Opt-in - Each list can have a welcome and/or confirmation email - both optional!
      * Custom Fields for each list to collect additional user information of your choice on signup.
      * Unlimited users with no limits to the amount of email you can send.
      * Easily add "Remove Links" to your messages with a simple "Message Code".
      * Bounce Handling automatically removes undeliverable email addresses from your lists.
      * Scheduling system to queue your messages days, months, or even years in advance.
      * Backup & Restore protects against unexpected server failures and helps with site migration.
      * User Selection - send to lists and sub-lists based on search results or custom SQL.
      * Queue Protection - in an unexpected failure, easily and safely resume your mailings.
      * Programmed with the powerful PHP script language utilizing a MySQL database backend.
      * Super-simple upgrades - just overwrite the files. All updates are free!
      * Installs and runs on your web site with no extra charges whatsoever!

If you're gonna start with the free stuff be sure that it's products you can give away so when they buy the upgraded version you get paid.

      Good Luck!

I would completely toss out that list of 5k users and start over. You don't want to ruin your credibility by sending out random emails. You said you have a certain bit of knowledge that can save them money though. I don't know how that interests you. You said they can get something for free.

You don't want your IP or Email address to become known in spam folders from sending out messages to 5k strangers.

Hey, I won't beat it over the head about spamming not being the route to take. But I will help with the question... The only company I know that allows you to take a list that wasn't opted in on and email is FanBridge. I know a few ppl who use it all the time and they just import emails. However, this is more costly than aweber, icontact, getresponse etc etc and I doubt it'd turn profitable to you.
But if you want to do it anyway fanbridge will do it

i don't Use email marketing and also don't use any kind of software to do my marketing. Just hire some people to do this kind of jobs. they don't need any experience and they do it manually so there is less chance to be spam.
