Help needed: How to create a converting squeeze page + CPA offer using facebook

I want to say a very big thank you for this forum. I have been reading lots of information on CPA for the past 2 weeks and i feel i am ready to start out, that's why i need a bit of help

Here's my plan:

a. Start out in the Dating vertical. I am looking at promoting Christian dating, black dating and maybe adult dating.

b. I'll put up a squeeze page giving out a free dating ebook (which i am creating presently) in exchange for name and email.

c. I'll then promote my squeeze page with facebook ads targeting demographics based on the CPA offer itself.

d. I'll then promote CPA offers via email to my list.

For the purpose of the above, i have purchased webhosting, getresponse email marketing, wp squeeze page creator.

I know the only way to find out if i'll make profit is actually to test what i have above. However, i want the experienced warriors in the house to kindly look over my plan and suggest what i can improve on before i start my testing.

I'll appreciate every help i can get.

thanks in advance

Without showing the campaign from start to finish, it will be hard to comment on your marketing plan. Because you are giving away a free e-book you must make sure it's packed with great information.

All you have to do is over-deliver, and your list will love you. Give away more freebies than you hit them with offers, and just relate to their needs.

Looks like you have thought this out very well. Stop waiting and just test it.

I would probably first split test two squeeze pages against one another, because you want to get a good converting optin page working.

Then rotate simular demographic offers to your optin list. You can test way many more offers to your list for cheap to find the winners and losers.

Thank you jeffrey73, I am not just going to use CPA offers, i am looking to use clickbank products too. Would you consider this ok?

@Scott James, thanks for mentioning split test. I'll follow your advice and create two different optin pages. I might put them up here when i am done with it.

By the way, While searching for information on how to create Facebook compliant optin pages, i noticed a lot of information on creating the optin page within facebook itself.

Would this be a better option (in terms of conversion) than building an external squeeze page?

Hey bud, you are on your way. As others have said, go and test it. Start with a small budget and go from there.

From the Facebook side, depending on your targeting and ads your CPC will vary. Consider that you will spend more up front, but have a ton more income potential on the back end.

It's quite a difference from direct linking or selling leads as you typically are doing with an ad going to an offer without capturing the e-mail address. In this case you are buying the leads. So keep that in mind as you may see more delay in making some of the money back.

As Jefferey73 said, over deliver. Your list is the most important part here, burn it early and you may not be able to recover it. You need to build a relationship and build rapport with them. Build trust by over delivering and giving good free content.

The nice thing about marketing CPA offers to the list is you aren't asking them to buy something up front, you can direct them to sites that are great for xxx etc.

As far as offering clickbank products and such, that can work too, but make sure you give yourself some time to build the relationship in the responder series before asking them to buy something.

Also, you go outside the actual dating niche here, that's one of the great things about lists built on dating. People who are looking to date may want to get in shape, may be looking to go back to school, may want to quit smoking, etc. You can experiment with this.

In any case, get rolling on it and take action. You'll learn 10 times more by doing this stuff, I can guarantee that. Good luck!

Oh, and while I'm a huge Facebook proponent myself, list building can be done quite cheaply using PPV, so something to consider once you start getting data and have numbers on your costs and ROI.
