I had a thread about Facebook basics when starting a campaign and received a lot of great advice from here. I have $275 in Adcenter credits and want to do some testing there. What are some basic's when starting a PPC campaign with Bing Adcenter?

I know direct linking is not really allowed anymore. They are not too fond of biz ops and email submits. Does my site/LP have to follow the same strict guidelines of adwords? Any other offers I can't run?

I'm not an expert by any means but from what I've been reading they are not as strict as adwords but you still have to create your own website with Privacy Policy, TOS, and those things. Have a look at their Guidelines. They have some good info there that is worth reading because one of those things might get you banned. Read it HERE

I use adcenter for a lot of campaigns and they are FAR more understanding than adwords. I had my adwords account of 5 years banned for landing page violation (got one warning and resubmitted and then banned for life).

With adcenter they simply don't run the ad and tell you what is wrong. You fix it and resubmit. If it still violates their TOS then it gets blocked and you can try again. I had one ad that took 10 tries to get running. Not once did I receive a "screw you" email.

Just my experience. Oh and don't run biz ops.

      Landing pages convert better anyways.

I always use adwords, but you are right to get a huge experience to use Bing Adcenter
