If you're Looking to sell product? Sell Services, Looking for Leads.
Craigslist.org should be your Goal.

Craigslist Visitors are online to buy something, or search about something they might wanna buy.

So 100% Guaranteed you will Generate Back Whatever you are looking for.

Sales / Leads / etc.

What you Will Need.

1- Pvas ( Phone Verified Account )
2- Ads
3- Ip Solution.

1- The Pvas.

It is Very Important to have more than one Craigslist Verified account to post as much as you Need.
You will need an email and you will need to verify that email with a Valid USA Phone number.
If you need USA Phone Numbers please check my Other Posts.

2- The Ads.

Your ads should be Unique Less Words as much as possible, Straight to your Goal.

Good Hint:
Ads With Links Get Ghosted More Than ads without Links.
Ads with Images also Get Ghosted as much as ads with Links
You can still use Links, but try not to use the same link for longtime.

3- The IP Solution.

RDSL:
Remote DSL.
Someone rent you a PC With DSL Line, Must be located in the USA.
Good solution, The Only thing bad with it, you can Only post to cities close to Where the RDSL Located.

Other IP Solutions

Proxy Rental
IP Rental
Proxies

And All you have to do Next is

Post your ads, Get your Sales Done, and Leads or whatever you're looking for.

If you have any Questions regarding this Post, please feel free to ask
I Will be more than Glad to answer whenever i get some free time.

Which are the niches that work well on Craigslist?

If getting email addresses is included in 'leads' above, how do you get them? Please give an example to illustrate lead generation techniques.

I disagree that spamming Craigslist should be anyone's goal. If you want to build a business or have any long-term success, purposely going out of your way to violate in every way possible the TOS of the site on which you are advertising is not a solid business model. Not to mention all the customers you piss off.

And calling this "Professional" is way beyond the pale.

I've just about given up posting on CL. Whatever I post. Image, no image...doesn't matter. I get flagged within a couple of hours of posting.

Try to change the ads around, Change ip solution, Create new Pvas
The solution is out there somewhere, Do Not Give UP

    .
    I partly don't agree.
I have been posting the same links for 6 months all the time with no problems with ghosting in the jobs section. Ads with images are acceptable in some sections of Craigslist more than others. You must learn what others are doing and go with what the crowd is doing to be successful
on Craigslist. I have created video course to help avoid Craigslist ghosting
    problems.

I don't understand why people think promoting your business on CL is unprofessional - from a business standpoint there are a lot of advantages.

It's free to post, or low cost to have a service do it for you.

You can reach a TON of potential customers with minimal effort.

The conversion rate (depending on your business) is really good. I close about 50% of the leads that call or email me for my services.

There's a ton of ways to promote your business out there, Craigslist will work for some and not others. But when it comes down to it, leads, sales and revenue are the benchmark of how "professional" a business is or isn't, not where how you decide to promote. Just my 2 cents =)

It's not posting to CL that is unprofessional. It's doing it the very illegitimate way that is proposed in this thread that is unprofessional.

I appreciate your point, Than I guess it comes down to what you consider as unprofessional then. If posting in multiple regions to gain more exposure is considered unprofessional, I would have to disagree. I think it's smart. But there are many ways to go about getting that exposure. I think people using software to post multiple ads per day in the same city is spamming, but I don't think posting 1 time per day per region is hurting anyone.

doesnt CL auto detect urls which are linked to and ghost ads with urls that it has seen before?

I was going to use a posting service , good prices they quoted me. I do believe the guy that I could post in multiple cities, etc say 100 cities per day. Ok great. Then I asked but dont I have to use a url cloaker like tinyurl (banned by cl) in order to hide the urls so they arent the same url the ad goes to?
        No, he says

but I dont believe him. To me that would be a dead giveaway to cl
I was thinking maybe i could do
        subdomains of the main domain
and it would not detect it that way

I want to market my service in multiple cities, and that is Marketing 101. CL seems to think that offering a service nationwide is bad, and that is very frustrating for me. I will circumvent it. Have not found the way yet, but I will. I respect reasonable boundaries, but CL's note that "readers don't like to see the same ad in posts" is completely bogus when the readers are in different cities and states and reading similar, but not identical ads.

You're going to need multiple accounts associated with geo-specific IP addresses for the city/states you're posting in.

Also, try to make each ad as unique as possible ie different landing page URLs/text/file names etc.
