A "simple" question about email subscriptions

Hi guys,

I hope you can help me clarify something.

One of the most popular topics of this sub-forum says: "Collect emails. Direct linking is unwise".
So, I went out and checked how it's done in payday loans niche. And what I saw was kind of "enter your details to begin" form. Then, the visitor is transferred to a form page. Then, visitor's email is bombarded with spam about loan offers. Needless to say, the mail goes to spam folder.
So, this is how it's being done now (by some).

My question: How to make this thing smooth and simple but ethical in the same time?

Use a "Free Report" squeeze page instead? But isn't it too much hussle for a person who has a mindset of "just give me money now"?

Thanks in advance!
Alex

The purpose of collecting visitor's emails on the front end is for you to do follow up marketing. And you can be as ethical as you want to be with your email follow ups -- or not.

Now, if the visitor is being bombarded with spam by the offer's advertiser - there's not much you can do about that. About the only thing you can do is promote another offer.

Now, for payday loans - a better approach might be for you to offer something of value upfornt; ie: a Free Report as you already suggested. In this way, you can set yourself up as an authority in the mind of your visitors.

Your free report can be loaded with insightful and helpful information and resources where one can get a payday loan. Naturally, you'd want those resources to be cpa affiliate offers

Then, when you follow up with more emails promoting related offers - your visitors will be more inclined to open your emails and take action because you're the guy that gave them the Free Report

Also, depending on what Email platform you use (Aweber, Getresponse, etc.) -- your emails will reach their inbox.
