it can take 2 month to active it ,but i am pretty sure if you bid for $10/click, you can have it activedd in 2 days!

They generally go live in a few hours max.

Make sure you abide 100% by Googles paramaters on image ads, or you'll be in a constant time wasting back and forth process with their review department.

Google makes their terms pretty clear on what they want.

it s not true! even if you abide 100% ,but the google system pick up the higher bidder to start ....bids price is crucial

Actually I think it's pretty poor how Google manages this.

          My experience so far:

@Adbrite: You see a status: "Pending" / "Active" - Took 1 Day until I got a mail that it was approved.

@Google: Noting - Takes 3 - 5 days until your ad is approved and you don't get a mail.

I know Google has a lot more customers but still they could add a status display.

in fact, the fastest way is : tick both content network and search network, and aggessively bid as high as you can afford psychologically, for example, $10 or 5$ /click, you will see your campaign will start to run in no time! but your heart will be bleeding

They do have to manually review the image by a human, so it can take some time.

If it's the weekend and you have a newer account, you're waiting until monday at the earliest.

If you have an old established account it can be a lot faster.
