Question About Hiring a Paid Traffic Expert?

Does anyone have any experience with hiring a Paid Traffic Expert?

As much as I'd love to learn how to drive paid traffic to my sites I'm fully aware that it may be more efficient to hire someone who is a genuine expert and pay them to set up and manage paid traffic campaigns.

Do paid traffic guru's work on a 'for hire' basis? Or are they all too busy working on their own personal campaigns?

I'd expect to pay some kind of hourly retainer fee plus a profit-share/performance-based fee component as well.

Does anyone have any advice?

    My suggestion is to turn and burn them.

    Get someone reputable and if they slack off or under preform get someone else.

    if you are serious about your traffic and know your websites convert hire a serious media agency with proven track record, the rates can really surprise you if you can afford relatively high volumes. and you usually pay % of your weekly or monthly ad spend not profit share.

    I don't have much advice from hiring in this market, however I can offer my services.

    I work on a fee basis, either fixed fee or depending on the amount you would be looking to spend a percentage of monthly spend.

    I won't go in to a whole sales slur, but I manage some of the largest clients in the world including Nespresso (part of Nestle), American Express, Cocosa (high end fashion) and many others.

    You'll lose more money sticking with someone who doesn't know what they are doing.

    Also make sure tracking is setup, base it on conversions, not how many clicks you get.

      To be honest you can hire coaching services but really no REAL and GENUINE Expert will be willing to do it unless you offer them big $$$ , My advise to you is to burn the amount of money you are going to pay to traffic expert in testing and optimizing and get experience plus learn how to fish how yourself

        I completely agree that that would be the ideal solution. However I don't have time to learn traffic generation since I am focused on many other aspects of my business. Hence why I am looking to pay someone who is an expert to do this for me.

        When you say big $$$ - what kind of figures are you talking about?

        My budget for paid traffic is likely approx $10,000 per month. That figure would increase once a positive ROI was established. I would look to leverage up winning campaigns significantly.

        Ha why would you say no real and genuine expert would not be willing to do it. If someone has the expertise and skill, then it would be a pretty simple task for them to help someone else out, why do people always need to charge 'big bucks' enough to cover someone's time and lead a good quality of life is enough for some people, especially when you get the chance to have invaluable feedback/testimonials.

    If paid traffic is what you want to do as along-term task I'd spend the money myself and learn it by my own. But first thing first, you want to make sure that your landing page/website converts well, otherwise paying for traffic would be a waste money. At least, try 3 different versions of your landing page while you are bringing traffic to your website.

    One advice would be to look for current landign pages in your niche and get some ideas.

      Why? I disagree.

      I have a finite amount of time in the day. 24 hours.

      I am an expert at certain parts of my business. And I'm not at others.

      For those parts for which I'm no expert, I'm smart enough to know that it makes more sense for me to hire an expert to do the work than for me to do it. Why?

      First, because I will never be able to do as good a job as a genuine expert.

      Second, because trying to master these other parts distracts me from the parts of my business that I am genuinely good at....and that make me money.

      If I needed a house built, would everyone tell me to read books and learn how to build it? Of course not. I'd hire an architect and a builder.
