Where do you get your images from for POF ads

I'd suggest you to register to some dating websites and download random images from there. I'm using this method all the time

99.9% of people just take them from Google.

But that could run you into copyright issues yes.

Here's the catch: you don't have the rights to use most of the images that you'll find. Sure you can pay for stock photos, but those convert like shit.

So you run the risk of someone potentially complaining that you used their photo without their permission.

A while back, an affiliate used a photo of a soldier who happened to die in Iraq. His photo was used in a Match.com dating ad. His parents got pissed and they took legal action.

There's a 99.9% chance that won't happen to you, but you should be aware of the risks.

It's all part of the game, as they say.

I'd be careful with that. POF monitors their ads and if they catch you, they can ban your account.

The "safer" way to do this is to rip profile pics from OTHER dating sites besides POF (like the one you're promoting...)

Can you please tell me (you or anyone who knows) how does POF treat the following (I'm especially interested in how much are this things safe - please explain or give some example):

Thanks a lot. It was logical to me that nobody would have anything against me helping him/her find a soul mate. But, in fact, they only chose to display their photos on that dating site, and may not like their faces being all over internet (although anyone can join that dating site and take the photos).

Thanks for the list. That's obviously the safest way, but is it 100% safe? I mean, using the photo for promoting a dating site isn't exactly the same as using it for a post on your blog or something like that.

  Just take them from google images. I have never had any trouble with this, however its not to say I may in the future. Some of my best Ctr came from images from google that I never thought would be any good. Its all about testing.
