Best value: Automatic Traffic System?

Okay, I'm plugging away with my Empower blog and PL under BIM and EZ$ (why not, right?) I'm actually enjoying blogging quite a bit and would like to focus more on my content and less on driving traffic. It's just more fun that way!

From what I've read, heard, spoke to others, really most of IM comes down to a numbers game. The average return is 2% and that's what you've got to work with in your programs. So the key is traffic, and lots of it (targeted if at all possible!)

I've got a good lead on driving free traffic and have done okay with it (a bit below industry standard, but it's only the first go 'round.) I'll keep plugging at it of course, but my free time isn't limitless so I figured...well, why wouldn't there be automatic traffic generators? Some more expensive than others, some better than others, in short probably an entire niche I'm just not familiar with.

So instead of hitting google (and dealing with fake reviews and scams and having to look up each product individually, ugh.) I figured I'd ask in here (if it's not too forward of me), so that when I've got the capitol I know the best place to spend it first!

-What have been the best "traffic systems" you have found for your money?
-How did they work for you? (ie: conversions)
-Did they need a "breaking in period" (that is, did you find things improved with time?)
-Did the product you were promoting make a difference? (This is from another traffic system that I looked up, totally blanking on the name, where clickbank products were doing better than Empower and Pure Leverage).

-Anything else I should know?
