While you are still not getting any replies for this, probably because this is a common topic many members post, you can try searching for threads that are similar with yours and see what other members replied. You can also do a Google search and surely, you'll find some sites that have info useful for you and the plus side, it's comprehensively explained. Best of luck!

You need to pick a Traffic Source.

You can try Free Traffic Sources (Youtube, Forum Traffic, FB Fanpages, ect...)

Or Paid Traffic Sources (7Search, PPV, Bing Ads, ect...)

These sources will be used to generate clicks to your offer.

What type of traffic you pick all depends on your budget. What is that like?

Yes the first step would be a traffic source, then testing, then scaling.

Or rank your pages in the SERPs, depends if you have a website that people naturally gravitate to or not. Test it out with some paid traffic and see what the conversion rate is, if the paid traffic doesn't do anything it's a clue to check the design, layout and content of your website.
