My test campaign with BuySellAds

I built up 20 dollars in paypal to test a campaign for 30 days, a banner on a game site to see if I can get at least 8-9 conversions in 30 days to see if I can actually profit or at least recoup costs. So far, I only inserted the ad just 2 hours ago as of this post and see 2 clicks that actually went into it. I am hoping for conversions before 30 days are up. If so, then I know PPC is really the way to go as well as media buying.

I use my article business as investment material for this.

    I tested several campaigns in buysellads, I didn't find it really good there.. but the price is affordable.

    I have tried with gaming. I hope that is marginally better, at the least than a good variety of other types of ads....

    Please advise of which ads are most suited for buysellads.

    Make sure you are connecting with your target audience when using bsa ...

    Always research the website beyond the niche. Go to alexa and quomcast and find out what countries the majority of traffic comes from. There is no point throwing money blindly into an ad if you are not aware of what countries get a majority of impressions.

    Bsa can uncover a lot of gems but many marketers won't do their due dilligence and then sob to the forums that the traffic is crappy.

    Here's a few tips to keep in mind:

    -identify and select niches
    - check traffic THOUROUGHLY (country, demographics, ect)
    - write ad copy and lps targeted to the site
    - test headers/banners

    With good research and well written ads you can bank from BSA...

    There is not an exact type of offer or campaign that performs better with BuySellAds. It's a media buying platform, so you will find many different sites there.

    However, don't run one campaign and say "this campaign will show me if PPC and media buying can be really profitable". Most campaigns never become profitable, so one failure doesn't mean that the model isn't efficient.

          No, not really. That's why I say its important to do your OWN research (use alexa ect).

          There is a lot of gold there, but you just have to do more digging to uncover it.

          If you're gullible enough to believe some site offers you 100,000 impressions for a month real cheap without looking into it... Than I have no sympathy for ya.

          Just distinguish where that traffic is coming from. Most of the time high impressions are from third world countries - which will mean nothing in terms of conversions - or the owner has just overexagerrated his traffic. The reality is it's only a fraction of what they claim it is.

          Other then that BSA is a great traffic source. Plenty of potential if you know what your looking for and what you're doing.

          Hope this helps anyone that's sitting on the fence about media buy traffic. So many different options out there, guys.

    Welp, it doesn't matter about that place now. I just made profit with an ad somewhere else. I spent 20 somewhere on there, and made profit, like 17 dollars above the 20 dollars at some OTHER place with another CPA, so that money can screw off and I just take the lick and buy proper ads at PPC and PVA places and just forget this one.
