Facebook Ads - Offers - DL vs LP

Hey Warriors!

Preparing to setup facebook ads for an offer - and I was wondering..

I know that many PPC (Adwords, FB, Bing..) disapprove direct-linking in your Ad, so there are solutions like Iframing, Re-directing, LPs, etc.

May question is.. How is that many offers convert better with LP than DL? Because through LP it's just one more click.. isn't it?

My second question is that I heard DL works better with Email/Zip submits than with longer offers (Billing info, credit card, selling..) is that true?

I'm going to test this myself, just wondering what is your experience with this?

Thanks

Because with a good LP you can pitch, explain, target an angle, and more.

They convert much better if you take the time to learn to make them correctly.

Yes, they do work better with those types of offers.

I like to only work with offers over $4 they always tend to convert better for me.

I honestly haven't had much luck without a landing page.

People aren't typically looking to enter their information on a random site that pops up, so you need to pre-sell them on it. Hence the need to use landing pages.

I will do DL before LP, when DP is working i will do a LP to make the conversion better. that is my take

I typically start a campaign direct linking using the advertiser's landing page and if the conversion rate isn't quite where I want it I'll try building my own lander to see if I can improve on it.

I recently ran a penny auction offer on Facebook and quadrupled my conversion rate with my own lander. It's an extra step for the visitor, but if you build a good lander it can really improve the performance of your campaign.

I knew you can make few % + with LP, but quadrupling your CR? That's just awesome. I like Direct-linking so I will stick with it for now, then I will check out if I can build a proper (improving) LP.

Should I just stick with light (E-mail submit, Zip Code) offers for DL, or others too?

Most of the time I find a good lp converts better than direct linking. This is because with a lp you presell the visitors on the offer

It's all about preselling my friend... think of giving them the idea that they're making steps toward their desired outcome... (converting into leads or buyers).
