Help with email list

I am wanting to create an email list full of the names and emails of users that I have directed to my squeeze page before a CPA offer.

I have been trying to figure this out lately and I am wondering if anyone here could explain or direct me to resources that have the answer to this question.

How exactly do I capture this information when users type it into the form and press submit? I have no idea what is happening in the back-end here. I am assuming that when this is all working properly, then their information will be inserted into a file that I have specified and have access to, but that is just a guess.

If anyone could shed some light on this for me that would be greatly appreciated!

    Hey Nicholas !

    You're on the right path, list building is very profitable. To build email lists and send automatically series of emails, you need an email platform with the autoresponding feature. I would recommend Aweber or GetResponse.

    You need an Auto-Responder program to capture and store your e-mails. You will also use your Auto-Responder to blast your list and hold a follow-up e-mail sequence.

    You can back them up offline from the Auto-Responder too so you have a copy.

    I highly recommend checking out aWeber.

    Their blog has a lot of great info on getting started.

    Hi Nicholas,

    Email service provider blogs offer great information on getting started. The GetResponse blog has info on this and list building. I would also suggest you check out the grandaddy of email marketing blogs: Email Marketing Reports Mark has probably been writing longer about this business than anyone else that I know of at least.

    Check out aweber or mailchimp, they take care of the details and make it very easy to create an optin forum
