FB ppc campaign, abandon ship?

Hi folks,

my first campaign on Facebook is up since 4 days now and this are my results:

Campaign reach
7,727
Frequency
3.7
Clicks
9
Click-Through Rate
0.032%
Total Spent
$4.85

so my questions are, should i invest more per click at the moment im on $0.60 max bid i can go as high as $1.50 for a week with $25.00 daily limit.

Should i create multiple dupes of the ad with different pics etc?

or abandon ship and try something else?


i appreciate any advice you guys can give me

    I wouldn't abandon it, it's to early to just quit. Try changing some stuff around and check out the results , if they get better or worse. Might also want to see if increasing the ad a couple of cents will make a difference ( which it most likely will).

    Keep on testing. The number one ingredient to your success is testing.

      The only way you can fail is to quit. Go ahead, create 2 or even 3 same campaign but different add photo and make test. When you see results just improve that one with bad result.
      You are paying too much for a click and try to reduce it by setting up better your campaign like target audience, interest and also try to keep your add inside facebook, this will reduce your bid.
      Set up Facebook fan page with tabs and point your add to one of the tab... You can play what ever you like to and only imagination is the limit!

    Keep gathering data and tweaking it man. I just started fb ppc too and it is working out pretty great for me considering I just started!

    so much response thanks everyone. here is what i did and im anxious to wait for the result so here is what happened so far.

    21,913
    Frequency
    5.7
    Clicks
    40
    Click-Through Rate
    0.032%
    Total Spent
    $28.95

    I did create 5 campaigns with 10 ads in total but FB did not approve 1 of them because of the content lol.
    I upped my daily spend to $25.00, i have not got a single conversion yet should i create a Landing page?

    IMHO you should tweak the headline, the description, and the picture. You can get a much higher CTR than that. Higher CTR = lower CPC = higher profit.
