Is it just me or are dating offers, mostly in the US/UK/CA, on the decline...Seems like there are less and less of them, good ones especially :S

Give some a try. Sign up for the free trial, and if it makes you want to pay for the premium, then it should convert well.

They seem the same to me, some traffic sources are more saturated but the offers seem the same

If you are trying what you were doing 1-3 years ago, yes, they've changed. I remember the day you could throw up a crappy ad on Facebook, get 10 cent clicks and make around $1 per click with dating ads. Those were the golden days of affiliate marketing.

You can still get cheap clicks and great conversion rates, but yes, it is not as easy as back then. A little optimization and a lot of testing can get you there, though.

I've been focusing on creating my own dating sites, and I can tell you had I done that back then, I'd probably be sitting on $100 million dollars already!

I could never make dating work - margins are just too small and the competition is extremely high. Even on the lead generation side where you get paid for each signup its like £1 per form submit which is just not worth the effort. Same with gambling, as you only get paid per signup with deposit, making it a sales based product.

Do finance instead, its like £30 a form submit so a heck of a lot more room to play with. Lots has changed since the credit crunch few years ago, but in the UK this market is massive as always with pretty healthy margins

Any questions just let me know,
    Nick

Try private networks . Most dating offers require high quality traffic and are only open to volume affiliates.

The niche isn't as hot as it used to be, but it's still profitable. Facebook's cracking down has slowed down things a lot.

I don't know why people still promote dating offers when you can easily create your own dating site easily.
Plus point in your own dating site is freedom on what you do on your site and also continuous recurring payments.

You have to kidding my mate If you think that only investment would be just a domain name.Of course If you choose to make a fake dating site with no value for members then it won`t require more investments but also that will make you nothing in term of income. No value= no money

there are still ways to make money on dating, but its not as easy as it was before.
Just think allot of them have a high database already. Any lead usually with registration on one site will automatically register at least on 3 other sites in the same nitch.
Most of them switch to DOI
But................... there is still money to be make, I work with one SOI on dating , high conversion .
I worked for one of the Dating site, and its not cheap to get it going and actually making it profitable. To start up one will run about 100,000 k and lots lots of time in

No domain name is cheap, where it gets expensive is the development, chat especially.
Then all the advertising , in the beginning you would need to dump allot of your money in in adwords , bing and social
Well unless you get a package deal, but then your website will look more like myspace in the 2000 and any other adjustment which you want to do will be very hard.
Also the price depends allot on what kind of website you are building, per credits or packages. The 100K is the credits ( when the user gets charged for every activity he does on the website

And payment processor, and member moderation etc etc etc

Hence if you don't have those budgets it's better to go white label.
And no it's NOT fake profiles, we have 1000's of new REAL members every month
