So I had someone setup an AdWords campaign for my eCommerce store and I am noticing a lot of clicks from the keywords "brand==*", "id==*" and sometimes even just *

Could someone please explain to me what these are?

Thanks

Not sure if I am breaking any rules by bumping this, but not sure how else to find out. Google search gives no answers

Sounds like it's just referring to terms that have 'brand' as part/half of it. I could be wrong but that's what I would guess. Couldn't find anything on the matter myself. Did you try contacting any kind of support?

My only guess would be that they are dynamic keywords but I've never used dynamic keywords so I can't say for sure.

You might have better lluck in the CPC forum: Well, I can't find that forum anymore...
