1. Prioritize your Dream Clients
Use the 80/20 rule - that means that you should identify the 20% of your clients that are providing you with 80% of profitability and business. There are always these types of clients in a business - your regulars; your loyal customers; your best buyers; your dream clients.
You should concentrate and prioritize these clients first because they have the most potential to make your business grow. Not to say that you should neglect all your other clients, but make this group feel that they are more appreciated. Send them small gifts on birthdays or show your appreciation in any other way like giving them discounts - just small things that would make them feel special.
2. Be Proactive with your Leads
When you have recognized your target market and set out a lead generator to lure them into your business, the work does not stop there. Once you have lured them in, give them proper attention, follow-up in a diligent, continuous and timely manner.
When you leave your leads unattended, the possibility that they would respond to the competition's lead generator will likely to happen. They must have been interested in what you are offering, otherwise they would not have responded to your offer. Check on them regularly - but do not be annoying.
