Where to learn good info on email marketing?

Hi everyone!

I am wondering if anyone knows a good source (like a course or learning program) to learn more about email marketing in the self help niche. I haven't found much success in finding one. I keep getting these generic courses that give no real info and are geared toward large companies.

I currently have a list of about 11,000 and I know I can be doing better with sales. I want to learn more about:

-how often to send emails
-a good ratio of content and giveaway emails to sales emails
-what reporting and tracking is good to use
-good writing practices and psychology of sales emails, where to put links, etc.

Anybody have any advice?

What have I been doing for the past five years?

Building my email list I suppose.

No I didn't buy it, the subscribers signed up via my website.

I have decent open rates and want to learn more to get the most out of my email agenda. I have been browsing through the email marketing thread, but would really like to find a course or book with current information on what is and isn't working, as well as some pointers on how to best use reorting and analytics.

Edit: I guess I need to clarify, I built this list via my website. The subscribers are qualified and I am sending them relevant sales offers, content, free stuff, etc. I use Aweber. I have been doing this to a certain level of success for a while now but I know there is still MUCH more to learn about how and when to email, how to write SALES emails, how to properly use reporting amd A/B testing etc.

      Thanks for your replies!

You can do it yourself if you want to but I don't recommend sending bulk emails. I've been there and it doesn't give good results. It is all a waste of time.

You can try Udemy: https://www.udemy.com/courses/search...rc=sac&kw=emai There are email marketing courses (from specific to general topics) that you can get there. But if you're trying to save money, you can search for tutorials on YouTube or going through WF's email marketing threads. -Micah
