    Why not type that into google . Plenty of alternatives show up there. Most likely here you will get several different suggestions and they may not work for you.

    It all depends what you are trying to do. For some things, there are simple CSS and HTML solutions, for others, you are pretty much stuck with javascript.

    You would need to be far more specific in order to get a reply here that hopes to solve whatever problem you have. And, as DWolfe said, if you can be that specific, chances are, the answer is already available if you do a Google search.
