Choosing a Side Hussle Resource Request

With all the different avenues and ways to make money/market and the like I was wondering if there were good thread/resources comparing the different routes discussed on this forum. Normally people pick what they are familiar with, but seeing as how I know nothing, and that there are MANY routes to success, I just want to find one/few to try out first that might be the best use of my limited time/energy/experience.

This forum has about 20 years of internet marketing and internet business advice...learn to use the search function (use 'search posts' as there is a technical glitch in the 'search title' that has yet to be fixed).

I'd start with the link below and move on from there. As you read the forum, learn to recognize the members giving real advice from experience - and start reading some of their posts and threads and checking out their signature sites to see what they do.

Not as of yet... the last 7 - 8 months? have been crazy in my personal life and business ( in a good way ). I keep thinking there will be a gap somewhere here, and its just not happening. I love you guys... but focusing on probably the greatest period of opportunity that will exist in my 11 yr old sons life time ( let alone mine ) is an absolute priority.

No worries at all, was just curious! The forum site is a bit dated so I've just been scrolling through each thread you've posted in. Be nice if I could sort posts by age etc, but honestly it's kindof fun using a site that has been around as long as this one. Its core seems to be built from an internet a bit before my time haha.

Keep doing you, and I hope your success continues!

After you read the thread suggested in the post above. Please read this thread in the Mind Warriors Section in detail. Pay attention reading through the thread. The information is excellent, especially post # 56 https://www.warriorforum.com/mind-wa...h-mindset.html You will see two people give you more wisdom and information than about 90% of the people on this forum. IMHO

I am pretty sure you have experience at something at life .For example : You might have experienced something and overcame it .Basically what I am saying is share your experiences with people .Shoe them how you overcame situation .To.make it a little bit more simple sell people value.Using your personal experiences will help.Making money is not limited to a specific niche or category so to speak.

The forum went to this current platform in 2008...if you weren't born then, you don't meet the age requirement.

The best way to use this forum is to read enough to identify the members here who KNOW what they are talking about - in the field/method you have an interest in...then read many of their posts.

I've noted some newer members want to a see a forum that is more like a training site or a blog - sites that were/are built to teach, coach, sell, inform... A forum is user generated and takes more time to sort out if you are looking for specific information.

Perfect because that's what I've started to do and I'm already finding a load of wealth and information!

Question: I noticed the Warrior Path section and didn't know if vague/beginner journey's were ok to document, or if that was a place for more specific/experienced people.

P.S. I found the quote button, but how do I get the "Originally posted by:" part that savidge4 has?

You have to be in the Classic View to be able to quote like that.

Highlight your user name in the upper right side Black Bar.

Scroll down and see View Classic. Switch to that and you are good to go.

Beginners are welcome in those path threads as long as you follow the rules for that section. Doesn't have to be a huge goal -but you need to set a goal and post your progress to achieve it.

It can be a great way to motivate yourself to get SOMETHING done...starting a blog, writing a book, promoting a site, etc. The important part is to have a goal and document your progress toward the goal.

I have 9 posts associated with my account, however it states "You do not have enough posts to create a thread in this forum" for the Warrior Path Forum. How many more do I need?

More than 9? Just kidding - that has come up before and I'm not sure what the number is. However, you joined 3 days ago so that may be part of the issue.

I don't believe it's a 'big number' but what we want are members seriously laying out their goals and their plans/timeline to reach that goal. Brand new members tend to jump in and back out quickly - which is why there are limitations in the first place.

My suggestion is to participate in the forum a bit and then try again. If you do that you will have better responses and support in your 'path' thread when you are able to post it.

When I first started out I created a list. It doesn't really matter how experienced you are on a certain field because you can gain knowledge doing implementing something.

So I created a list based on which ways of money making seem appealing to me.
I think you should not stop until you collect at least 20 of them.

Then cross the ones which do not fit in your time/energy. I would add money since you can save up time and energy by putting in some money sometimes.

But if you insist on something which only require time and energy for example making youtube videos and earning with adsense, kindle publishing, ecommerce on etsy then trim your list accordingly.

Then decide on one and do it until you succeed and I mean it! I have been running circles for years until I focused on one thing for 2 months ina row. That is when things started to producing results.

The problem is in the making money online space is not the lack of knowledge but the lack of consistent action for a certain period of time.
