D Wordpress, ok, l started out about 10 years back building my own website on toys and games put about 2.5 years into it and tried every monetization method that l could,... all failed.

And this was about 100 pages of unique content apart from the chess section. Adsense probably made me the most but a few dollars a year isn't that good especially when the website cost me almost $40 a month.


To this day l am still waiting for my first check since l haven't cleared the $100 minimum yet.


I have also tried a Forum which l have kept Adsense away from, and stayed with Amazon since it is more pleasing to the eye, but not that profitable and what would l have made if l used Adsense instead over the last three years? I figure no more than $30 a year, and yeah the site costs far more.


But blogs and adsense, the sites l visit with a ton of advertising, (too much in my opinion) and are at the top of search results are Horoscopes and latest news sites.

Horoscopes you need specialized software, and do a course then put in a lot of effort every month, but it appears to be a viable option but it isn't set and forget.

The news one could be better but the competition is obviously more intense.

I am currently doing online Trading and sure l could brag but l have been through a few rough patches and it has taken me 5 years to get good at it.

Any endeavor will take time and effort and be a gamble and we can all offer advise but you ultimately have to decide for yourself.

You'd be stretching yourself thing trying to create 10 different topics so to me the 1st option is not viable .

The second method seems more fees able in my opinion .


Thirdly in order for me to determine how effective your campaigns are I would need mesaurables otherwise i'd be guessing .

Well, if you have the resources, and most important - time, just try both. Make a WordPress blog that you think it will bring you 100$ and three or four that will bring you 10$. After some months, you'll know for sure which one is better in your case.
