You've discovered one truth - many people (most likely most people) who have the 'dream' of making money online...fail. If you are routinely spending more than you earn month after month - you have a hobby, not a business.

The BEST money maker I've seen on this forum is the thread below - written by someone who does make good money online - with questions answered and many (most) of the 'kinks' already worked out for you.

It is free advice, full of references and advice from experience. Then read through various sections of this forum and identify those members here that seem to know what they are talking about.

Do NOT buy anything else until you have a plan in place...otherwise you just go from one thing to another and never really gain traction.

You can make money online but it takes work and effort,
it's not a get rich quick scheme, it takes time to grow just
like everything else.

I developed a list and there are at least 250 realistic ways
to make money online.

Selling on eBay or any of the other platforms is a great
way to start, that is how I got started but that was over
twenty years ago.

Currently most of the platforms are saturated with people
who think they are going to earn a living by selling their
castoffs or junk they have laying around their garage.

If people want to be successful at making money online
then they should develop a business plan the same way
that they would for any other type of business.

They need relevant skills like copywriting, marketing,
graphics design, WordPress/website, lead generation,
project management, communication skills, etc.

These skills are developed over time unless a person
just got out of school and learned them there.

Go to Amazon and buy a book about making money
online, work at home business, side hustles and other
topics that interest you and try to figure out what you
can do to supplement your income.

And good luck with whatever you plan to do, hopefully
you will put more effort into this than the effort put into
writing your post.

But entering the exceedingly competitive diet field in the US is logical?


I did not say 'sell your stuff on ebay' .....I said consider building a BUSINESS ON EBAY following the exact steps successful sellers are using.


We don't know enough about the OP to know what he is capable of doing - what his skills or interests are - what he's learned to do so far.

And I disagree with Matteo who says you TAKE money, and I understand the concept, but what really happens is an EXCHANGE, taking money is theft, and sure there are plenty of those guys online too.

Now steven scroggins your post is very typical of what we've seen here the last 20+ years, and the fact you have tried things is both good and bad. Good because you have done somethings, bad because you, like most new Warriors lack:

FOUNDATION-FOCUS-FRAMEWORK

The foundation is an understanding of the TRANSACTION, and Matteo is right in that involves two entities, but it isn't taking, it is exchanging an agreed upon value. So a solid foundation is an understanding of what money is and what it does, and when you acknowledge it is an EXCHANGE OF VALUE, then the question becomes: what do you have to exchange?

What did you bring with you to the IM table? What do you have to offer? See, your Original Post (OP) is about what YOU want, what YOU benefit from, but flipping that to what do you have to offer that people will trade you money for, is a better view, eh?

Because you have tried different things, it shows us a lack of FOCUS too, so therefore, you don't have, nor can you have a FRAMEWORK to build your business around.

So there is some basic things to do, first, before you start making money online.

The biggest opportunity before you is;

The opportunity to waste a lot of time. And keep in mind, you don't get paid for doing nothing. So the what you do is important, and the FOUNDATION is again the starting point...like Matteo pointed out, the exchange of value can be with a few or with many.

Knowing what you WANT, and how you want to get it is the starting point.

HERE IS THE secret TO MAKING MONEY ONLINE:
In order for you to "make" money, someone, somewhere must reach into their wallets and somehow get their money into your hands.

So, what business models have you attempted? What did you try and fail at?

Since you do not appear desperate, you may take some time to actually work on your foundation before you jump into the next thing...your history isn't very good at this point, why not try a different way; do some serious THINKING this time.

New member joined and posted a long question that has some good points in it. That was at 10:22 on Oct 9.

At 10:30 on Oct 9, the new member logged out. Since the FIRST answer provided was at 10:36 ...do we assume he has not yet SEEN any of the answers to questions he posed. Why would someone take the time to ask questions...and not come back to read the answers. Do people expect instant answers...or give up....or forget where they posted the questions? Not picking on this particular new member - we see this quite often and I don't understand why you would ask for help or advice and then walk away. You won't earn money online through osmosis.

If you START a thread asking for help, at least come back and participate in the discussion you started. There are some fantastic IMers here who can and will try to help you - but you have to do your part, too.

I have found that many people who have their backs against the wall end up doing their best work. I have seen many newbies who were not afraid to call local businesses make money without anything but a phone.

It can be depressing to have people hanging up on you, occasionally yelling at you, but eventually, you will find someone who needs a service you are selling.

I'm new to the forum but experienced in online and offline marketing. I do much better with offline marketing, but definitely, if you have a skill, freelancing is an excellent way to make money.

People who are living uncomfortably are very motivated to change that. Those who are willing to do things that others won't can oftentimes get rewarded.

Good luck finding the right fit, if you're determined you can make it.

I think the main problem with the internet marketing industry is that the products on the market make it look like it's easy to make money doing nothing. In my experience, it takes dedication and hard work, especially in the beginning.

The number 1 tool you need is a skill and solutions .Secondly you need to know when to pivot .If you aren't measuring and taking notes of what is and what isn't working it is going to be even harder for you to achieve your goal which is to make sales .

You said you have tried everything which gives me a clear indication that you have spread yourself thin .


Like I said your skill sets your ability to solve and close sales is vital .


Keep learning and applying yourself but do know that failure is inevitable regardless of how much experience one has .

It was without links. I only said everyone can monetize a website by accepting guest articles or earning with tg. It's true, what kind of advertising is there.. it's a safe way, I think

It is possible you just need to seek out free platforms that allow you to advertise. Next have a genuine offer that can solve potential problems for a person. If they want to buy have a way for them to send you payment and also have a way to deliver what they paid for.

The problem with MMO scheme is that, beginners jumps into it seeing all the youtube videos with an initial expectation that they just need to create a website and viola money starts coming. They couldn't understand that the youtubers who are asking you to get into easy MMO scheme are not actually making money from their website rather they are selling hosting plans on their youtube blogs. Most people don't see that. It's very difficult now a days to earn money from affiliate program or google ads. But not impossible there are people who are earning 1000 bucks weekly from their website traffic and there are millions of people who just get few clicks. Mastering the MMO skills takes time and if you are not genuinely interested in technical stuff, you 'll certainly end up buying courses, developers, seo helps. For beginners MMO is actually GMO- give money online, stay away from that trap.

Years ago, on this forum when it was a super busy place...there were two business partners who added a new 'make money' info product every two weeks. That was about a dozen years ago and the 'Warrior Special Offers' section often had 30-50 NEW offers daily.

These two IMers sold 'training' and 'guides' and 'step by step courses' to build a site, build a blog, use adsense, sell affiliate products, create your own products, arbitrage, drop shipping, effective advertising, etc etc etc. The 'products' the sold here were in the $27-$97 range.

A member comment about these 'opportunities' that caught my attention was this:

It was fascinating that not one person here asked 'if the product you sold last week was 'all you need' - why are you selling something totally different this week?'

Making money online is a bit like dieting - if you find ONE method that works well FOR YOU...that's all you need. What 'worked' for these business partners was running WSO's selling to members here.

Country roads are lined with flat squirrels who weren't stupid but just couldn't commit to a direction....

the answers here are already very good, the only thing I want to add to this is that the main reason why people do not succeed online is the difference between expectation (sales messages/hype about an idea to make money online) and the reality.

Because in reality in order to succeed you need to have discipline around ONE business approach/idea and work on it for at least 6 - 12 months straight without distraction.

That is what people don't do. That is why the majority fails.

Some great replies on this thread ... You can certinly make money.. Believe it and must always put the work in and then take action.

For the same reason people will buy one 'diet plan' after another - hoping that 'one of them will work'.



I do have to say, though, the WSO's these members ran were info rich - common sense approaches to various IM methods....any one of the 'offers' could have been fully written in a couple days with some research....and I'm sure they were.

yes it's possible when you have some skills like design, marketing, writing, etc. there are plenty of international and local online jobs website out there.

Off course most people make money from online sources for example blogging, freelancing, affiliate marketing and most other sources. I am also working as a freelancing in search engine optimization and earn thousands of dollars in this fields and I am also working in blogging and website designing .most my clients earn money with blogging and satisfied with his field. If someone want to earn money online first of all they must learn a skill then he start work online

Yes, you can make money online - but it will take one (or more) of these 3 things:

- time
- expertise
- luck

You could get lucky and strike it rich in a very short time. Or you could slog at it and learn over time until you succeed. Most often, you'll begin with some knowledge, interest and passion which grows as you learn and experience more... and then you'll begin making money.

There's no reliable shortcut. Some people do find one. That's luck. Counting on luck is a poor business strategy.

Far more have succeeded by following a SYSTEM. Other replies on this thread have pointed this out. The specifics of the system you choose to follow might vary. Just as there are many roads/routes to get someplace you want to reach.

But the common thing is that you have to figure out the roadmap, then align it with your resources (experience, skills, desire, goals and dreams), then take steady, consistent action UNTIL you find success.

Some things you try will work. Others will not. You could get disheartened and give up at that point. Or learn from those mistakes and not repeat them again.

Growth and improvement are incremental. At times, it will feel like you're slipping back 2 steps for every 1 you take forward. That's normal, par for the course. And why some people have mentors - who can show them how to avoid some mistakes.

Bottom line... it is definitely possible to make money online. Many thousands of Warriors have done it over the years. It takes a systematic approach to an interesting challenge. You'll find all the clues you need littered all over this very forum. It's where I cut my teeth since 2001 or thereabouts, alongside many others who have been far more successful than I.

So if you're a forum member with access to archives, there's really no reason to seek other products or services that charge you a fee to learn. You'll find whatever you need inside these archives - but will have to invest in the time and effort to study them, test them out, find what works best for YOU... and then stick to it with discipline and determination.

yes you definately make money online even you can make money by your website too. as if you want to make money through website then you must have a proper longtail keyword & a meaningful title with description as google ranks your website by verifying this two things if your both the things are proper then visitors able to see your website and business get started.

yes you can if u work hard and keep learning, i think the focus has to be on not how much money you can make, but to focus on others and how your product can actually help them show an interest in them and what their needs are, you would need to find an affilaite product that actually shows people by ongoing training how to achieve this, and has a community were many others can connect and build up confidence how to grow together as a team, some of be best ways are video and email marketing, thats what i would do if i was starting out, i hope this helps you

I believe if you take it seriously, if you have a burning desire and a great deal of determination. And you follow advice, there is enough mentorship here for you to understand how it works and how online business can be a profitable venture for you. Trouble is there are a lot of pieces to put together, and a lot of noise. With some luck, and you strike a good niche, which you can satisfy satisfactorily, and you are prepared to put in the work, you can make it. Sadly, it's not as straightforward as I have just put it for most of us. Especially when you are on a shoestring budget. Best is to find a job, and find a mentor, it requires money, without money it's an uphill struggle. Oh, and you will need a great deal of belief in delf, so perhaps a good place to start will be to work on yourself first, read good business books and learn from other people's experience, personal development books, because without that, doubt can creep up on you quick, for there are a lot of things that will throw it in your face.
