Best Car Blogs in 2025 - How to Monetize Car Content?

Hi everyone,

I've noticed car blogs are still super popular in 2025, especially around EVs, reviews, and DIY repair tips. I'm curious - what do you think are the best ways to monetize car-related content today?

Affiliate links (parts, tools, accessories)?

Display ads?

Sponsored reviews?

YouTube tie-ins?

Would love to hear what's working best for you right now.

There are several influencers on YouTube. One person has "2.38M subscribers." He puts out content every Friday. He posts daily on Facebook. He works on cars and has a shop. His wife sells merchandise on their website: T-shirts, hats, coffee mugs, and stickers.

Others do how-to videos or review automotive products on YouTube. Then, in the description area, they will have Affiliate links to the products. They turn out high-quality content and grow organically over time. Most automotive enthusiasts and DIYers will smell BS a fakers a mile away. If you're going to promote a product, learn what it does and how to use. Or you will just waste your time.

You have to get in the market and demonstrate that you can deliver solutions before you start monetizing .You tube is a good way to drive organic traffic and cross promote

Car content still does really well in 2025. A mix usually works best: affiliate links for tools/parts are great since readers often need those right away, display ads help with steady passive income, and YouTube tie-ins can drive both traffic and brand deals. Sponsored reviews are also strong if you've built trust with your audience. I'd suggest testing a few together instead of relying on just one.

I've been doing some SEO MicroJobs on platforms like SproutGigs, that place where you can run jobs for website rankings and social media tasks. It's been a good way to boost traffic.

Affiliate links can work well if you focus on parts, tools, and accessories that people actually search for.
Display ads are fine, but you first need steady traffic, and earnings depend on your niche RPM.
Sponsored reviews pay more, but they require trust and a sizable audience.
YouTube is great for demos and helps boost both ad revenue and sales.
A mix of these works best start small with affiliates and ads, then add sponsored content and videos as you grow.

affiliate links on parts/tools. thats it. people searching repair stuff are ready to buy. just did a brake pad guide last month, made $400 from one post. youtube helps but not required. i'm too lazy for video honestly. don't overthink it. write good repair guides, link the parts, profit.
