Guys, have you felt that Google is now counting of the article directory link juice, backlinks from web 2.0, and article-related linking sources?
Well if you do feel that, then in 2013 you're not alone. Since the updates of Panda , penguing, EMD, (and many more updates in the future), Google will literally keep updating their algo to make sure they bring the best user experience on the search result.
One thing that Google doesn't change the way they rank a site to page one: POPULARITY.
If it sees that your site is popular (popular according to Google, surely), then they'll happily have your website in the page one, regardless of how rich you can be by getting traffic from Google page one. They just don't care about what will happen to you, what they really care about is only their customers!

Can you tell me how powerful a single link from 1 facebook fan page? Not that powerful? Or what about 10 little backlinks from Twitter because your website is being re-tweeted? Does it need more power?

I think as an internet marketer, or link builder, you don't want to "hangout" and spend too much time in the social media websites asking for links...
You can join a social exchange website that's free and easy to use. You can exchange your free coins to some tweets, likes, etc. The point is you can get a lot of social signals for free in a much more effective ways than hanging out there yourself.
So, by using social exchange sites (like social media explode, dizzle, addmefast, and attracted ) they will literally help you a lot to save time to build social links.
