Want to Work From Home, But Not Sure What to Do?
Well said.
It helps to have a realistic plan put together before you begin, and to keep at it to the end.
Expect delays, complications, that you'll have to learn something, or to adjust your plans a little- it's all a part of growing, and makes for a stronger business.
So many are chronic with the problem of always starting and never finishing a doggone thing...
...and then they get frustrated (and wonder why) when they don't make a dime!
Well, duh! Can you drive a car that someone forgot to put the wheels onto?
As for freelancing, the key is to NOT sell yourself short.
Know what your work is worth, and don't be afraid to demand a fair price. So many make the mistake of dropping their price, and working their butts off- only to end up with thankless clients breaking the deal anyway.
Don't waste any tears on clients like that- you don't want to work for them anyway.
A reasonable price attracts reasonable clients, and gives you more room to provide quality work- which is good for both your reputation and your portfolio.Posted 21st January 2010 at 03:24 PM by DynamicRevelation
