I have received more than one request recently for an autoresponder with no opt-in requirement. Highly dangerous in my opinion to go that route, and also against many web hosting agreements.

The Dirt Cheap Autoresponder script is not encrypted so a programmer could make the change.

I already have a "Black Hat" version of that script with no opt-in requirement and in the next few days will make it a point to add it to the members area due to number of requests....
