Offline masterminding

It's been a long while since I've made a single dime online, months and months.
I have been killing the businesses in my area, which is one of the most backward areas I've ever liven.
As one guy I was talking to states, "...out of all the places I have lived this area is mostly ignorant backward know nothings..."
I could not argue his logic and reasoning at all. As far as starting an offline business it sucks, but it can be done. It is all about the networking.
Now I need to get up to speed on what is what online, see if anyone has created anything new or very interesting. Anyone have any ideas in that regard?
