Good Sources For Paid Writing Jobs Online
It’s funny how things sometimes come full circle. When I first got started on the Internet a few years ago one of my main purposes for getting an Internet connection was to seek out good sources for paid writing jobs online.
Well, needless to say, I found numerous websites that specialized in listing companies, businesses and publications willing to pay writers for good quality work. And I’m not talking about only $5 or $10 per article. I’m talking about professional writing rates where you could potentially earn hundreds of dollars per article, or possibly $1 per word or more in some cases.
This interested me because at the time I had just started developing my offline freelance writing business. I wanted to “branch out” by finding suitable writing markets online and I wanted to get paid rates that were at least as good as what I was getting from my offline clients.
Now, let me point out that as much as I enjoy writing (and enjoy getting paid to do it), I have always been a marketer at heart and I have always been attracted to home business opportunities of all kinds. I’ve been involved in home-based mail order marketing, multi-level-marketing, network marketing and a variety of direct sales opportunities.
So, when I first went on the Internet to seek out good sources for paid writing jobs online, it was no surprise that I got sidetracked by all of the exciting business and affiliate marketing opportunities!
Two things happened: first, even though I discovered many great sites with hundreds of real writing jobs that pay well, instead of following up with those jobs, I focused on learning all about Internet Marketing and developing my online affiliate marketing business.
The second thing that happened was I had attracted a few more offline corporate writing clients and since I was keeping busy serving their needs, I was not motivated to pursue the online writing markets. I was getting my writing business established offline instead.
Now here we are several years later and my Internet business is growing, plus I have been earning a nice income from my offline freelance writing business, and wouldn’t you know it? I was recently shown a writer’s resource online that I wish I had found way back in the beginning! It has reminded me of just how much potential there is to work from home and earn part-time or full-time income as a writer and it has re-kindled my interest in pursuing online writing markets!
There are literally thousands of writing jobs available in just about every industry and every field of interest with pay rates right across the spectrum. You don’t really need the resource I just mentioned to help you find these jobs, but what I like about the resource is how it brings all of these writing opportunities together on one website, plus it provides you with a variety of guides, eBooks and other helpful resources designed to help you build your online writing income quickly.
Internet success today is all about streamlining your systems and simplifying your methods. When you can find everything you need for a particular project all on one website, to me, that is a bonus, and that is what I found with the online writer’s resource shown to me by my mentor.
If you think you are interested in finding good sources for paid writing jobs online, you are welcome to read the Real Writing Jobs review that I wrote a few days ago and posted on my website. There are many ways to make money online and getting paid to write is an exciting one!
