Some background

I've been at the IM thing since about 2001 when my son was 2. I needed to figure out how to make enough money that I wouldn't need to go back to work. Never made much though - which drove DH crazy. But have you ever tried to start a new business and keep 2 babies happy while keeping a house tidy and being the perfect wife? Impossible.
Fast forward 9 years and I'm working full time outside the home. I'm also single now and have 2 kids. Life is good. My job is okay. But I VERY much want to be home again (I'd also like to find a guy but I'm pretty sure the WF can't help me with that lol!).
I hate the corporate grind - meetings every day - dressing up - keeping my guard up against those who want my job - paying $110 per month to park and still walk 10 minutes in bitter cold. Ugh.
I want to drive my kids to school. My son has been identified as having a very, very high IQ and attends a school where there are other kids like him. No more bullying. Thank God. My daughter will be tested this year but she doesn't get bullied so we're okay there. Nevertheless, that's two schools to go to each day and i want to do that for them.
In this blog I'll outline my previous approaches that have not worked and why I think that is. Lastly I'll explain what I'm doing now. Let's hope the outcome this time will be very positive
