Consulting on non-compete issues is something I do daily, and in several consulting or outsourcing agreements relating to Internet Marketing I have seen noncompete terms included. Unless you are being paid an outrageous amount of money my suggestion is to either demand removal of such a term during contract negotiations or walk away. There will always be another client.

Don't Confuse Effort With Results

Some Internet marketers tend to equate spending a lot of time on the computer with "working" to be a success.

Don't confuse effort with results.

What matters are your results. The time you put into obtaining the results is irrelevant unless it translates into results.

Busywork may simply be unproductive. Time spent learning a skill may be valuable. Just keep in mind at the end of the day you will be measured by your results and not whatever effort...

What Do You Need in a Privacy Policy?

A website privacy policy is a disclosure of what, if anything, you do with private information from users.

Private information includes a user's email address and other contact information, and of course financial data. It may also include the fact someone has purchased a product from you.
