So I was checking out my news feed on Fb today
and there was a post
calling out people who had '80s big hair at one time.

I got quite the chuckle as the post in
question had about 10 girls representing
every variation of '80's
Aqua Net Big Hair...including the wall with the bangs
3 feet high lol.

I remember those days well as I was in
high school in
the late '80's and early '90's...and I am sure
I would...

Many people get into this biz with the promise of sitting on
their fanny while getting paid(or the golf course, swimming pool etc)

Then reality hits.

They discover that all of these systems require
a ton of time or dough to drive the necessary
traffic to the affiliate offers to have any success.

But the smart people who want to sit on their duff...

or spend more time doing the things they
want to do in life...

"I Just Want to do Affiliate Marketing"

That's an email from a fella named John from the UK
and I've had a few simliar emails...

And I don't blame the people for thinking this way
due to the way affiliate marketing is presented.

So here is the response I sent to John..and he replied that
what I said made sense, and I think you'll agree.

"In order to do affiliate marketing, you
need to build a list....

Remember Charlie Brown's teacher?

If you've ever seen the cartoon even once, you'll

And perhaps I am dating myself here, but if you've never
seen the cartoon,
just google "Charlie Brown's Teacher" and you'll see short Youtube Clips.

So whenever Charlie Brown would have a conversation
with the teacher,
the teacher would always sound like she just downed
a fifth of Whisky.

I'm really not a big fan of Free traffic methods except
for when it comes to having affiliates drive traffic for me.

Here's why:

While free traffic methods can work, they take FOREVER...and can really lead to quite a bit of frustration.

Imagine spending all day creating content, posting the content to your site, taking the content and making a Youtube video, posting in forums, submitting that content on slide share sites, posting on Instagram etc......
