When it comes to Facebook, the most popular social media platform, images are everything.

In the previous post, I mentioned some of my favorite general tips and strategies considering Facebook, however, this time, I am going to dissect one specific topic: Facebook Ad images.

Seeing is believing!

Images are not a powerful tool, they are the MOST POWERFUL tool when it comes to creating eye catching, highly contagious and engaging images that adorn your Facebook Ads.

Still, creating such images is not always as easy as one, two, three.

So, here I will share 5 tips, which should and will help you to make the most out of your images that serve the Facebook Ads purposes.

1. To Image or Not, That is an Obsolete Question!

Facebook Ads gives you the option to add images to your ads, so not taking this advantage is, pardon my French, foolish.

All surveys say that Facebook Ads and posts that are accompanied by images have a lot higher levels of engagement that those that are not.

The first tip that I am going to give you is to always, always use images for your ads. This helps your ad to stand out from the sea of posts and ads that over flood the news feed section.

2. One is Good, Two is Better, but Three is the Best!

Did you know that Facebook Ads enables you to upload up to six images on your ad, with no added costs?

We already said that one image is a must, however, adding multiple images adds an extra variety on your post, plus it is an amazing way to drive-test the images and see how various images resonate with your targeted audience.

3. 20% Rule!

I know I gave you the permission to go crazy with the images, however, Facebook as usual, is a buzz killer.

Facebook advertising rules say that any image used for advertising purposes will be rejected if the text on the image takes up more than 20% of the entire image space.

To make your life a bit easier, Facebook has embedded a grid tool, which helps you to keep the text within the provided guidelines.

I personally detest the rule, and I am happy that there are ways to get around this rule (shhhh, don’t tell anyone, but Jon Loomer can teach you all about it).
