There are so many people that think just reviewing sales pages is a bad idea. Some will even say "so what if everything on the page is fake...so what if all of the testimonials are made up...so what if the scarcity is completely faked to a ridiculous degree...what I want to know is whether or not it's a good product."

To me if a site has to go far out it's way mislead people to make a sale, then I can't imagine why anyone would really want to purchase anything at all from...

Sometimes I hear people complain that people are promoting products of their friends and business acquaintances. When I'm blogging I often forget to do things like use the fields of my SEO plugin to optimize the various SEO-important components of my post. But one thing I've noticed that if you're posting on an authority site that doesn't always really matter.

Forum reply spam

At any large forum there is often a large amount of forum reply spam. In other words members will post meaningless or nearly meaningless replies in an effort to do one of the following:

1) Get their signature file noticed.
2) Get their post count up to increase their forum benefits (i.e. some forums require that you post a certain number of times before you can have a signature line).

Trusted environments and direct marketing

You may not like a lot of the way affiliate marketing was conducted in 2009 but there's an awful lot that can be learned from the phenomenon that can be applied to ethical direct marketing.
